Included here are images from my various wanderings. There is a strangeness to walking down a street in a new city for the first time that I savor. A traveler passing through sees things differently than someone observing their familiar world. I traveled with my camera, at first using b&w film and then digital color. In Paris, I followed in the footsteps of Eugene Atget looking for layers of history, and carried my camera to the top of Machu Picchu, finding a perfect moment after sudden rain. A recent exploration included walks around the steep, narrow streets of Old San Juan.
