My current work includes a continuation of several areas of earlier explorations The tobacco barn documentation project is ongoing and I have begun exploring the tobacco belt’s small towns like Wilson, NC. Recently I re-visited Eastern Europe. And, in love with rust, I continue to be fascinated by industrial wastelands. Simple everyday objects, when carefully observed, can reveal a wealth of detail and a fantastic color palate. A recent find is Camp North End in Charlotte, a vast site that includes an old Ford factory and a building where Hercules missiles were once assembled.
