Nancy O. Albert  holds degrees from Trunity College and Wesleyan University. She has exhibited work in museums, galleries and in juried exhibitions in Massachusetts, Connecticut, and the Carolinas. She was a member artist and taught photography workshops at Ciel Gallery in Charlotte and was awarded three Arts and Science Council grants. In 2014 her entire collection of New England images was acquired by Wesleyan University’s Special Collections and Archives in Middletown, CT where it may be viewed by researchers, students, and the general public. A major retrospective was mounted there in 2016. Recent exhibitions include When Worlds Collide: the Interaction of Art and Chemistry at Central Piedmont Community College’s Ross Gallery; Abroad at Sage Salon and Gallery; and Endangered Landscapes at the Valley Photo Center in Springfield, MA.  Her gallery of NC tobacco barn images can be seen at Celebrate Tobacco Barns | NC DNCR.
